Seuss Wins Down South Again in NASCAR Modified Racing
Georgia is The Site of Latest Victory For Young New Hampshire Driver
Andy Seuss is currently batting .500 this season on the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour.  The season might only be four races old, but Seuss already has a pair of victories with his #47 Advance Auto Parts / Q Racing Oil Modified fielded by Riggs Racing.
Seuss' latest victory came on Saturday night at Lanier National Speedway (GA).  That is when he kept George Brunnhoelzl, III's #28 Modified at bay to score the victory.

“This car was just on rail,” said Seuss.  “I was just out for a Sunday drive.  It was absolutely perfect and I just set my pace for 150 laps.  I'm just glad that it last for 150 laps - especially with that #28 in my rear view mirror because he has been so good all year long.”

Seuss has now put a mechanical failure in his first start of the season on the Tour behind him.  That race resulted in a finish of last, but two victories and a second-place run in the next few events have allowed Seuss to climb to within just two markers of point leader Brunnhoelzl.

That accomplishment is due to the hard work of the #47 team.  The victory at Lanier was also due to putting in a little bit of extra effort.

“This crew worked so hard,” Seuss. “We ran more laps than anyone else in practice.  We ran over 100 laps.  We changed everything over and back again just to make sure that we were going to be good.  I think that is what it is going to take this year because the competition level is just so high.  It takes so much to win a race.”

Seuss is very appreciative of the position that he is now and he's currently on top of the world thanks to his most recent successes.

“I'm just living the dream right now, I'm just going to soak it up for as long as I can”

Seuss will return to action this coming weekend on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour when he competes in the Spring Sizzler at Stafford Motor Speedway with the #70 Stuarts Automotive/Rockingham Boat Modified.
